Helping out John Hopkins

It was a horrible wet, Wednesday evening when I got a phone call from a mutual friend that British and former Moto GP star John Hopkins was locked out of his crescent racing van at Heathrow T5.

After a few conversations to and fro, I went out on our trusted Burgman 4oo to see if we could help, he’d been on the red eye from the states and was not chirpy to say the least when I landed.

It seems interference from the comms system at the airport somehow interfered with the locks.

His keys to his motor home where also locked inside. With few tools but a lot of determination, and some advice from the best auto electrician in London(DC Auto Electrics) myself and a keen AA man made our way in after 3 hours of trying, with no damage.

John returned with a massive coffee and our mutual friend Chris Pistoni in tow, He drove all night and proceeded to to scoop the double that Weekend!

At your service.
